# Scheduling posts

> Schedule Rheos posts to publish automatically at the date and time you pick, across Instagram, LinkedIn, X and every other connected social network.

You can publish a post immediately or schedule it for later. Scheduled posts sit in your queue and Rheos pushes them to each network at the time you set.

## Schedule a post

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open a draft">
    Finish writing and previewing your post in the editor.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Schedule">
    In the publish panel, switch from **Publish now** to **Schedule**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a date and time">
    Pick any future date and time in your local timezone. Times are accurate to the minute.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Select **Schedule post**. The post moves to your calendar with a queued status.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Where scheduled posts live

Your scheduled posts appear in the **Calendar** view, grouped by day. You can:

* Select a post to open it again
* Reschedule by editing the date/time
* Edit copy or media right up until it publishes
* Cancel the schedule and move it back to drafts

<Note>
  A scheduled post stays editable until it goes live. You can keep tweaking it without losing your slot.
</Note>

## How publishing runs

When the scheduled time arrives, Rheos picks up the post and sends it to each connected network you selected. If a single platform fails — for example, an expired token — the others still go out. The failed one stays in your queue with an error you can act on.

<Tip>
  Scheduling across multiple timezones? Set your account timezone in **Settings → General** first so the time picker always means what you expect.
</Tip>

## Best times to post

Rheos doesn't yet auto-suggest the best slot. For now, lean on what you know about your audience — early mornings and lunch tend to work well for B2B; evenings for consumer.

<Warning>
  If you connect an account *after* scheduling a post, that post won't automatically include the new network. Open the post and add the platform before it publishes.
